To digress slightly what's your take on the best approach to comments in scripting?

Ermmmmmm, you mean cfscript or scripting in general?

I think your code should be readable without comments. Any comments you do add should explain non-obvious things or hacks.

Adding TODO: or NOTE: blocks is nice also.

Bad or incorrect comments are worse than NO comments! I'd rather be forced to scan through the code and work out what's going on than to read an incorrect comment.

But enough about comments, I'm just so happy at being crowned the heavy weight champ! :OD
